The Amazing Emily

So we have had a few request to see Emily's performance in the Elon Park Elementary school talent show this past week. I thought it was fun that she got such a round of applause before she even took the stage--there was also murmuring through the crowd when the unicycle was mentioned. She did fantastic especially considering that it is quite difficult to turn on a unicycle in such a small space and that her tire was mostly flat (yeah, we just discovered that today). Emily loved it when people asked where she learned to unicycle that she learned it from her dad. The follow up question from most people was, "Is he in the circus?" I told her she should have said, "No. He's a CPA." That would have thoroughly confused them :) Emily had a great time and was a little relieved when the show was over. Jason and Emily went for a two mile unicycle ride together on a trail today!! She is already talking about what she should start practicing for next year!!
