Jason was so sweet and took the four "big" kids to the park for a hike around the lake and then some fun at the playground. Olivia had a great time hiking. Ethan had a great time too--he was in the backpack and loved it because he could always see daddy (that's why there are no pictures of him on the hike). Andrew and Emily enjoyed marching down the path with Olivia and looking at sticks and leaves with her. They take such good care of "their babies". I really like it when they take the time to see the world through younger eyes--they remember the beauty and wonder of it all. It is times like that when I feel we need to slow down and make life a little less busy so we can appreciate all the blessings we have. We don't need all the toys and fancy things in life. All we need is each other and time together enjoying the wonderful blessings our Heavenly Father has given us.
