I think the 3rd birthday is one of my favorites because it is when the kids finally realize it is a very special day just for them :) What a wonderful thing to be able to choose the foods, shows, games for an entire day--especially if you are used to being, um, bossed around by your loving older siblings ;) So needless to say Abby thoroughly enjoyed being the "top princess" for the day!!
For her party we just had a backyard BBQ with some neighbors and friends from church who all had little ones around Abby's age. And then for entertainment we set up our bounce houses and had an amazing balloon guy come and entertain the kiddos. Some of his creations were very detailed.

Here are some of the great balloons we got. The two on the left are both Belle, then Sleeping Beauty, a dinosaur, Spider Man, Ariel and Rapunzel. Below is a close up of Belle--He even did her flower in the glass--how cool is that!!
